An important part of the Commission’s work is to explore the best ways to provide Education and Formation in safeguarding minors and vulnerable adults. The PCPM has been invited to contribute to conferences, seminars and workshops in this field.

All over the world, members have addressed a wide range of audiences, from families and schools to Church leadership, local churches and communities. Members have offered opportunities for learning, education and formation to Church and lay leaders, to the dicasteries of the Holy See and as participants at international conferences.

This outreach provides the type of support, which allows all Catholic institutions and communities to adopt and use the most appropriate approach and materials for the work of safeguarding.
