The Commission will launch its pilot Annual Report on Church Policies and Procedures for Safeguarding on October 29th at the Holy See Press Office.
The publishing of the Annual Report was a request made by Pope Francis in 2022 to “furnish a reliable account on what is presently being done and what needs to change, so that competent authorities can act.” This reporting tool will aid the Church in offering victims and survivors an honest account of the progress in safeguarding procedures and protocols.
