With Gratitude and Resolve
We begin this month with deep gratitude and a renewed sense of hope following the recent election of Pope Leo XIV. His pontificate marks a significant moment for the global Church. In particular, his inaugural remarks—hope-filled, reflective, and strikingly forward-looking—resonated deeply with all of us committed to safeguarding the dignity and safety of every child and vulnerable person.

Among the many noteworthy elements of his address, Pope Leo XIV’s comments on the ethical use of artificial intelligence stood out. |
This month’s newsletter is dedicated to continuing that mission: to provide clear, accountable updates on the work being done to protect minors, to share best practices and stories of healing, and to remain vigilant in holding ourselves to the highest standards of justice and care. It is a responsibility that belong

As we reflect on Pope Leo XIV’s call for a Church of light, not shadow, we recommit ourselves to ensuring that the pain of the past is neither forgotten nor repeated. Our efforts in safeguarding are not simply administrative or procedural—they are acts of love, of penance, and of solidarity with those who have suffered.
