On Tuesday, May 25, on the occasion of the International Day of Missing Children, Telefono Azzurro and the Special Commissioner of the Government for Missing Persons will organize a meeting on the theme of missing children in Italy, Europe and the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Institutions, companies and civil society will come together to reflect on the phenomenon of the disappearance of children, a discussion made even more urgent by the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will be an opportunity to address, with national and international experts, some important issues such as the Italian alert system, the search for missing children and new technologies, the role of civil society and the importance of transnational cooperation in the protection of missing children and adolescents, in particular unaccompanied foreign minors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will be divided into two sessions, the first one will take place in the morning in italian from 10:00 to 13:30 pm. This will be followed by the afternoon session, from 15:00 to 17:30, in English. The meeting will be held in presence, at Palazzo Valentini in Rome, under the respect of the rules and measures of containment dictated by the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
