Professor de Direito<\/strong><\/p>\n

O Professor Mezmur \u00e9 acad\u00eamico e profissional, e atualmente \u00e9 professor associado de Direito no Instituto Dullah Omar (nomeado em homenagem a seu fundador, o primeiro Ministro da Justi\u00e7a da \u00c1frica do Sul p\u00f3s-apartheid) e de Direito Constitucional, Governan\u00e7a e Direitos Humanos na Faculdade de Direito, Universidade do Cabo Ocidental, na Cidade do Cabo, \u00c1frica do Sul.<\/strong><\/p>\n

O professor Mezmur \u00e9 especialista em direito da crian\u00e7a, supervisiona mestrandos e doutorandos e convoca semin\u00e1rios de p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o sobre prote\u00e7\u00e3o internacional dos direitos humanos e dos direitos da crian\u00e7a.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eleito para o Comit\u00ea Africano de Peritos em Direitos e Bem-Estar da Crian\u00e7a da Uni\u00e3o Africana em 2010, e serviu como Presidente duas vezes (2012-2014, e 2015-2017). His field experience includes leading or taking part in investigative country missions, and follow-ups on child rights issues, as well as direct engagement with stakeholders such as child victims, faith-based organizations, and States in Africa. Sua experi\u00eancia de campo inclui liderar ou participar de miss\u00f5es de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o nos pa\u00edses, e acompanhamento em quest\u00f5es de direitos da crian\u00e7a, bem como o engajamento direto com as partes interessadas, como crian\u00e7as v\u00edtimas, organiza\u00e7\u00f5es baseadas na f\u00e9 e Estados na \u00c1frica.
